I'M SARAH
Before I understood my own money patterns, I was doing what a lot of therapists do. Undercharging, overextending, avoiding the business side because it felt uncomfortable and honestly a bit shameful. I didn't even have a website for the first year of my practice.
What changed things wasn't a new marketing tactic or more clinical training. It was understanding my own money personality, both the strengths that were already working for me and the sabotaging patterns that were quietly getting in my way. Once I could see it clearly, I could actually do something about it.
I went from one client to a full caseload in six months. My income grew sevenfold in the first year. Eight months in I was too busy to keep doing it alone, so I built a group practice.
I'm a therapist and clinical supervisor, and I work specifically with therapists in private practice who are ready to stop circling the same growth problems and start building something that actually sustains them.
